Being Back Home
So I have been back in the states for a couple of months now, and it has been great to be with my family again. I do truly miss Regensburg though. There is something really special about being able to live in a place with such a long history, and I hope to go back again. I would recommend the KIIS Spring Semester in Regensburg study abroad program to anyone who is even slightly interested. It's a five month program, which was pretty overwhelming to me at first, but I found in time that it was totally worth it! When you live in another country for five months or more, you really begin to know what it feels like to have an everyday life there and you become very comfortable with it. When it was time for me to come back home, I was actually worried about how different life back in the states would be! I will never forget my time in Regensburg and all of the wonderful people that I met there!

Walhalla!
Yesterday afternoon, some friends and I took a little boat trip on the Danube to Walhalla, which is a hall of fame for some notable Germans throughout history. It was the perfect day for a boat ride! The weather was great, and we got to see some very nice countryside on the trip. When we got to Walhalla, we had to climb a lot of stairs. It was very tiring, but it was completely worth it. There is a beautiful view from way up there. Here are some photos taken along the way. Enjoy!
